Exam structure
One 150-minute exam in two parts. Part 1, property and casualty general knowledge (100 scoreable items): Types of Policies (22), Insurance Terms and Related Concepts (15), Policy Provisions and Contract Law (13), Types of Policies, Bonds, and Related Terms (23), Insurance Terms and Related Concepts (15), and Policy Provisions (12). Part 2, Texas state-specific (30 scoreable items): Texas Statutes and Rules Common to Property and Casualty Insurance (18) and Texas Statutes and Rules Pertinent to Property and Casualty Insurance (12). 15 additional pretest questions are unscored.

Eligibility
