Arkansas Property/Casualty (including Commercial Lines) Producer Examination
The Arkansas Insurance Department's combined Property and Casualty producer licensing examination (including commercial lines) is a 160-question, 210-minute PSI-delivered computer-based examination with a 70% minimum passing score. Arkansas tests Property and Casualty as one combined producer exam rather than separate single-line exams; passing it qualifies an applicant for the multi-line (P&C) producer lines of authority.

Exam structure
One 160-question multiple-choice examination combining both lines, in two outlined parts: the Multi-line (P&C) Arkansas-specific state statutes, rules, and regulations section (25 scoreable + 2 pretest questions, 50 minutes) and the Property general knowledge section (125 scoreable + 8 pretest questions, 160 minutes)
Where rules vary
This is the Arkansas state insurance producer licensing examination for the combined property and casualty lines (including commercial lines); its state-specific outline section tests Arkansas law (Arkansas Code Title 23 and related rules) and passing it qualifies the applicant for an Arkansas producer license
Eligibility
Prelicensing education certificate required before the exam (course completion certificates valid 2 years); NIPR electronic resident licensing application with a $20 application fee; and an online criminal background check, before AID approval to test
Retake policy
Maximum of three (3) attempts within the 90-day permit period; a candidate who does not pass within 90 days or after three attempts must wait four weeks and repeat the entire approval process; a new appointment cannot be made on the same day as testing (earliest retest is two days later); the fee applies to each attempt
