Louisiana administers Property and Casualty BOTH as one combined producer licensing examination (Series 106, the row's identity) and as separate single-line Property (Series 104) and Casualty (Series 105) examinations. Series 106 is a 150-question, 160-minute PSI-delivered examination with a 70% passing score, sponsored by the Louisiana Department of Insurance; passing it qualifies a producer applicant for both the property and casualty lines of authority in one sitting.

This is the Louisiana state insurance producer licensing examination for the combined property and casualty lines of authority; the outline's state sections test Louisiana law (Louisiana Revised Statutes Title 22 and Louisiana Administrative Code Title 37) and passing qualifies the applicant for a Louisiana producer license
No prelicensing education requirement for this examination (Louisiana requires prelicensing only for Public Adjuster and Bail Bond); fingerprints for the background check are submitted through IdentoGO/Idemia as part of licensure, separately from the exam appointment
No limit on the number of attempts within the one-year registration period; a new appointment cannot be made on the same day as testing — a candidate can call the next day and retest as soon as the second following day, subject to seat availability; the examination fee applies to each attempt and is forfeited on a missed appointment or late cancellation
