Oklahoma Property and Casualty Producer Examination

The combined Property and Casualty producer licensing examination for the State of Oklahoma, administered by PSI Services LLC under contract with the Oklahoma Insurance Department. Passing it is required to apply for an Oklahoma insurance producer license covering both property and casualty lines.

One combined multiple-choice exam covering both property and casualty lines in 12 sections: Oklahoma state law (Licensing 7, State Insurance Statutes Rules and Regulations 16, State Automobile Insurance Laws 10, State Workers' Compensation 5) and general property/casualty content (Personal Policies 8, Commercial Property Policies 15, Property Insurance Terms and Related Concepts 20, Property Policy Provisions and Contract Law 15, Personal Casualty Policies and Related Terms 10, Commercial Casualty Policies Bonds and Related Terms 20, Casualty Insurance Terms and Related Concepts 15, Casualty Policy Provisions and Contract Law 9), totaling 150 scored items

Where rules vary

Oklahoma-specific licensing examination; a separate Property & Casualty - Personal Lines Only exam and separate single-line Property and Casualty producer exams also exist in Oklahoma.

Eligibility

At least 18 years old; U.S. citizen (or valid visa or I-94 card); no prelicensing education requirement for producer candidates

Retake policy

Open eligibility with unlimited attempts until passing; a new appointment cannot be made on the same day as a failed attempt; the fee is forfeited if the appointment is missed or not canceled 2 days before the scheduled date
