The Nevada Life and Health Combined examination (exam code 05, "NV Life and Health") is the combined insurance producer licensing exam for Nevada's Life and Health lines of authority, administered by the Nevada Division of Insurance through its testing vendor Pearson VUE: a 3-hour-35-minute computer-based exam covering life and accident & health general knowledge plus Nevada-specific statutes, requiring a scaled score of 70 (0-100 scale, Nevada Administrative Code 683A.270) to pass; the USD 47 combo exam is delivered at Pearson VUE test centers only.

One computer-based exam with a General Knowledge section and a Nevada-specific section for each line: Life–General Knowledge (50 scored items: types of policies, provisions/riders/options/exclusions, applications and underwriting, taxes/retirement concepts), Life–Nevada Specific (30 scored items: Nevada statutes common to all lines, common to life and health, and pertinent to life only), Accident & Health–General Knowledge (50 scored items), Health–Nevada Specific (38 scored items)
Nevada insurance producer licensing examination; passing the combined Life and Health exam (code 05) covers both the Life and Health lines of authority. Exams are not required for holders of an active Nevada non-resident producer license with an active home-state resident license, or for applicants within 90 days of inactivating a former state resident license.
No prelicensing education required (optional courses listed through Sircon); fingerprints for a criminal history background report must be submitted within 90 days of applying; license application through Sircon with a USD 185 state fee; exam waived for holders of an active Nevada non-resident producer license with an active home-state resident license and for applicants within 90 days of inactivating a former state resident license
After failing, wait 24 hours before making a re-examination reservation (reservations not made at the test center); online (OnVUE) candidates are allowed two attempts per exam, subsequent attempts at a test center; failing candidates retake the entire examination; new fee each attempt
