Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Examination

The Florida Real Estate Sales Associate Examination is the state licensing exam for sales associate (salesperson) applicants, developed by DBPR's Bureau of Education and Testing under the Florida Real Estate Commission and delivered year-round as a 100-question, 3.5-hour computer-based exam at Pearson VUE test centers; 75 of 100 points are required to pass.

Eligibility

Apply to the Florida Division of Real Estate and receive an authorization letter before scheduling; at least 18 years of age with a U.S. Social Security number and a high school diploma or equivalent; completion of the Florida-approved 63-hour sales associate pre-license education (course valid 2 years; exempt with a 4-year real estate degree or higher); fingerprints/background check required for licensure

Retake policy

Candidates who fail must wait 24 hours before scheduling a retake (new USD 36.75 fee per attempt); a failed-exam review may be requested within 21 days of the exam, and a retake within 21 days of an exam review requires a customer-service override
