TABE Mathematics
TABE Mathematics is the mathematics subtest of the TABE (Test of Adult Basic Education) 13&14 adult basic education battery published by Data Recognition Corporation (DRC). It is a 40-item, two-part subtest (45 minutes + 15 minutes) delivered at four difficulty levels (E, M, D, A) with identical item counts and timing at every level, measuring mathematics skills in everyday and work-related contexts with multiple-choice and gridded-response items and a DESMOS calculator. DRC states any TABE subtest can be administered as a stand-alone assessment.

Exam structure

TABE is a U.S. adult basic education assessment offered nationwide; the same battery is approved for National Reporting System (NRS) reporting. Not a state-specific exam.
