Exam content is uniform nationally; state and local requirements for employing a certified food protection manager (and acceptance of online vs. in-person delivery) vary by jurisdiction.
No eligibility requirements published; the exam must be taken under proctor supervision (registered ServSafe Proctor, online proctoring, or test center)
Two attempts allowed within a 30-day period; at least 60 days between subsequent attempts; no more than four attempts in any 12-month period (a new exam access code must be purchased for each attempt)
