The MPJE is customized per jurisdiction; this row is the Georgia version. NABP: "The MPJE is a state-specific exam, whereas the UMPJE is a uniform jurisprudence exam for participating jurisdictions." Candidates must answer every question "in terms of the prevailing laws of the state in which you are seeking licensure." Georgia is NOT among the jurisdictions adopting the Uniform MPJE (UMPJE) — the UMPJE Participating States page (Arizona, Florida, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Montana, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia) does not include Georgia and lists no MPJE retirement date for Georgia — and the NABP How to Apply page's "Take the MPJE or UMPJE Early" participating-jurisdiction list (Arizona, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin, Wyoming) confirms Georgia is a current MPJE jurisdiction. Georgia rules require licensure candidates to pass "a jurisprudence examination approved by the Board" on Georgia's pharmacy laws; reciprocity applicants must have "successfully passed a jurisprudence examination approved by the Board on Georgia's pharmacy laws and Board regulations." MPJE results cannot be transferred between jurisdictions.
