The independent, international association (founded 1904, Mount Prospect, IL) that assists its member state boards of pharmacy in protecting public health; NABP owns and develops the pharmacist licensure examinations (NAPLEX, MPJE, UMPJE) used by the boards of pharmacy to assess candidates' competence to practice pharmacy, processes exam eligibility for participating jurisdictions, and delivers its exams through Pearson Professional Centers.
