Multiple-choice items (four options, one best answer) across four blueprint domains: Hazard and Risk Identification and Control (36.6%), Emergency Preparedness, Incident Investigation, and Response (19.9%), Safety Program Development, Implementation, and Sustainment (22.5%), and Leadership, Communication, and Training (21%)

BCSP is a U.S.-headquartered credentialing body (Indianapolis, IN) but the exam is offered worldwide with no country restriction; Pearson VUE delivers BCSP exams 'at locations throughout the world'
Eligibility
At least three years of experience in construction safety, health, and environment with a minimum of 35% of job duties requiring technical skills and knowledge in SH&E; no education requirement; disclosure of criminal convictions and adverse license/credential actions required
Retake policy
Retakes permitted at any available appointment at least six weeks after the last attempt; the exam fee applies to each attempt (the exam bundle includes two attempts)
