The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) is the state department that licenses skilled trades and health professions: its Bureau of Construction Codes licenses electricians and has contracted with PSI Services LLC to conduct its examination program, and its Bureau of Community and Health Systems maintains the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry and contracts with Headmaster, L.L.P. to conduct Nurse Aide Certification Exams.
