Qatar's Ministry of Interior regulates private security services through its Establishments and Authorities Security Department (إدارة أمن المنشآت والهيئات), which implements Law No. 19 of 2009, licenses private security companies and accredited training centres, prepares the guard test questions, schedules and administers the tests of the basic security-guard training course through its Evaluation and Follow-up Branch, and issues course-completion certificates.
