Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General (Private Security and Investigative Services Branch)

The Ontario Ministry of the Solicitor General, through its Private Security and Investigative Services Branch (PSISB), licenses security guards and private investigators in Ontario under the Private Security and Investigative Services Act, 2005, and requires licence applicants to complete ministry-prescribed basic training and pass the basic ministry test; test delivery is contracted to Serco Canada Inc.
