The New York State department (established 2011) that regulates financial services and licenses insurance agents, brokers, and consultants under New York Insurance Law; it sets the prelicensing education, examination, and application requirements for insurance producers and has contracted with PSI Services to provide all insurance licensing examination services in New York.
