National Alliance of Wound Care and Ostomy

NAWCO is the certifying body that sponsors the Wound Care Certification Examination, sets eligibility and standard-setting policy through the NAWCO Certification Committee, and awards the WCC, AWCC, DWC, and OMS wound care and ostomy credentials; its WCC certification program has been accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Bodies (NCCA) since 2019 (reaccredited 2024 through April 30, 2029), and its exams are delivered through Prometric.
