The statutory regulatory authority for the real estate sector in the State of Maharashtra, India, constituted under the Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 (ISO 9001:2015 certified); it registers and regulates promoters and real estate agents, and under its Capacity Building and Certification Program (MahaRERA Order No. 41/2023) requires agents to pass the Certificate of Competency examination, with exam applications and delivery operated through its partner TCS iON.
