Exam structure
One approximately 60-question multiple-choice section covering seven content areas — Algebra and Functions (20%), Counting and Probability (10%), Data Analysis and Statistics (15%), Financial Mathematics (20%), Geometry (10%), Logic and Sets (15%), Numbers (10%) — split about 50% routine, straightforward problems and 50% nonroutine problems; a scientific (nongraphing) TI-30XS MultiView calculator is integrated into the exam software for the whole session

U.S. credit-by-examination program; credit policies are set by each receiving institution
Eligibility
No eligibility prerequisites published; test takers under 13 need parent/guardian consent, and 2 institutions may receive scores free at registration (transcripts to more institutions cost a fee)
Retake policy
Same-title exam may not be repeated within three months of the initial testing date (score canceled and fees forfeited if violated)
