60 multiple-choice and multiple-response items (each item states how many responses to select) across seven weighted domains: Prompting and Task Execution (14%), Output Evaluation and Validation (21%), Product and Model Selection (12%), Workflow Integration and Solution Design (16%), Configuration and Knowledge Management (12%), Governance, Risk, and Responsible Use (15%), Troubleshooting and Optimization (10%).

Where rules vary

Worldwide vendor certification; no geographic restriction stated — any Claude Partner Network organization may register, and delivery is via Pearson VUE online proctoring or test centers

Eligibility

Age 18 or older; registration restricted to people with a partner email address at a Claude Partner Network organization; no mandatory courses or technical background required

Retake policy

Waiting periods of 14 days after the first failed attempt, 30 days after the second, 90 days after the third; up to 4 attempts per exam in any rolling 12-month period; the exam fee applies to each attempt
