Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH AI)

The Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH AI) is EC-Council's flagship ethical hacking certification knowledge exam: a 4-hour, 125-question multiple-choice assessment covering information security threats and attack vectors, attack detection, attack prevention, and procedures/methodologies across a 20-module curriculum with more than 550 attack techniques. An optional separate 6-hour practical exam (20 challenges on the iLabs Cyber Range) leads to the CEH Master credential.

Eligibility

Two paths to eligibility: (1) attend official EC-Council training (iClass online, an Authorized Training Center in 140+ countries, or an EC-Council Academia Partner institution), or (2) submit an eligibility application evidencing two years of work experience in an information security role (non-refundable USD 100 application fee)

Retake policy

Candidates who do not pass may re-attempt the examination up to 4 times in one year (retake vouchers purchased separately from EC-Council)
