A worldwide professional credential with no national regulatory anchor: the RPSGT is "held by more than 16,700 professionals worldwide", Pearson VUE provides BRPT testing "in both the US and internationally", and eligibility Pathway 5 exists specifically for candidates outside the United States and Canada.
One of five eligibility pathways, each requiring a minimum of 960 hours of clinical experience with on-site polysomnography duties (completed within 3 years prior to the exam) or graduation from a CAAHEP/CoARC-accredited polysomnography program, plus current BLS/CPR certification with a live skills component (online-only certifications not accepted)
