Exam structure
Four subjects taken one per session over two days: Developmental Psychology (20%), Abnormal Psychology (20%), Industrial-Organizational Psychology (20%), and Psychological Assessment/Psychometricians (40%), per the Enhanced Table of Specifications in force since the June 2023 examination
Where rules vary
One uniform national licensure examination required to register and practice as a psychometrician in the Philippines under R.A. No. 10029 (Philippine Psychology Act of 2009), administered by the PRC through the Professional Regulatory Board of Psychology on fixed dates at testing centers nationwide.
Eligibility
Filipino citizen, permanent resident, or citizen of a reciprocity state; at least a bachelor's degree in psychology from a CHED-recognized institution with sufficient credits in the examination subjects; good moral character; no conviction of an offense involving moral turpitude
Retake policy
Conditional pass rule: an examinee with a weighted general average of 75% or higher but a rating below 60% in a subject may retake that subject (or subjects) within the next two years, needing at least 75% in each retaken subject
