Ohio Department of Health
The Ohio Department of Health operates the Nurse Aide Training and Competency Evaluation Program (NATCEP) — approving and monitoring training programs through its Bureau of Survey & Certification — approves the Ohio nurse aide test plan, and maintains the Ohio Nurse Aide Registry that passing candidates are listed on. ODH has approved the testing contractor (D&S Diversified Technologies, LLP / HEADMASTER) that provides the test instruments and scoring; the exam is the state-approved competency evaluation administered under ODH's program.
