Maryland Board of Nursing

The nursing regulatory board within the Maryland Department of Health that operates the state's Nursing Assistant Certification Program, approves the 100-hour nurse aide training programs, contracts the examination vendors for the state nurse aide competency evaluation (Credentia for the NNAAP, with D&SDT-Headmaster approved as a second vendor in October 2024), processes CNA and GNA/CNA-I registration, and maintains the combined CNA/GNA Nurse Aide Registry.
