The Louisiana Secretary of State (sos.la.gov) qualifies and commissions Louisiana notaries public, publishes the official notary exam study guide 'Fundamentals of Louisiana Notarial Law and Practice', and administers the state notary exam — by law (Act 145 of the 2018 Regular Legislative Session) 'not less than twice per year' — with delivery handled by the LSU Office of Testing and Evaluation Services.
