Exam structure
Two scored sections — Verbal (four content areas: analogy, contextual text error, sentence completion, reading comprehension) and Quantitative (basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and graph/table analysis, plus comparison questions) — delivered as six 25-minute sections; all items multiple choice with four options (A–D); includes non-scorable trial items (110 items total)
Where rules vary
National admissions test for Saudi higher education; the NCA also operates test centers outside the Kingdom for Saudi students.
Eligibility
Government-issued identification required for admission to the test (national ID card, passport, or resident identity per the Saudis / GCC nationals / non-Saudis categories); targets secondary-school graduates
Retake policy
Arabic version: up to 5 attempts within a 3-year period (maximum 3 computerized attempts); English version: up to 4 attempts in computerized format; highest score is the one delivered
